PCM Recorder is a simple voice recorder that can record with the highest sound quality.
Recording format can be selected from lossless compression PCM (WAV) and lossy compression AAC (M4A).
If you synchronize with iTunes, you can retrieve the recorded file to your PC.
Recording function:
- Recording in high-quality linear PCM (WAV) format
- Recording in high-compressed AAC (M4A) format
- Background recording
- Change sampling frequency (8 ~ 192kHz, WAV format only)
- Quantization bit number change (8 ~ 32bit, WAV format only)
- Bit rate change (64 ~ 256kbps, AAC format only)
- Unlimited recording time (up to 2GB)
Playback function:
- Background playback
- Create playlist
- Rename file
- Sort files
- Repeat playback
- Change playback speed (0.5x, 0.8x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 2.0x)
- Playback 10 seconds forward, 60 seconds forward, 10 seconds backward, 60 seconds backward
Other functions
- Conversion from WAV to AAC
- Cut out audio data and delete selected area
- File sharing
- Recover deleted files

If this would have an export option, it would be the best recorder around. As of now Im deleting it
i use this app with tascam im2 product. so it is great!&
Its very simple and easy. I wish I could compress the file for longer recordings. thank you very much for sharing it for free :)
Love the options, love the quality... Only thing missing is a meter option to set the levels. But other than that it Is the perfect app I hope you stay around! Note one small flaw. If the app crashes in the middle of a recording in other words if you open too many other apps... And you dont get a chance to hit the stop button, the file is unplayable :-/ I have not yet found a way to salvage the file :-/ Lastly, if you need a great MP3 recorder with meters, try handy recorder from Zoom. More options... Different, not better. I use both. PCM Recorder Lite is by far my favorite!
